The Mentals - IUMA.com Review September 2000

Calling themselves a "pop-punk power trio", this Austin band sounds a lot like early Nirvana and Mudhoney. This is not a bad thing, and they do rock the house with the selections here. "Alien Sex Fiend", "Game Over", and "Valium" are noisy, energetic, fuzzy songmonsters that grab you by the ears and throw you into the mosh pit. Check them out!
